Interpro was founded by Robert and Maureen
Goodrick - both General Electric veterans - in 1987. Robert’s expertise
was in the steam turbine power generation field while Maureen had worked
within GE’s executive administration sector. Interpro has evolved in
precisely that fashion.
Today, Interpro consists of turbine-generator specialists
located throughout North America, delivering unparalleled levels of
expertise, reliability and client service, and able to respond to crises
anywhere, including the Pacific Rim, on short notice. The company is a
key source for service, parts and technical training for steam and gas
turbines owners. Customer units serviced by Interpro over the years have
varied - both in manufacture and rating - from small, low-horsepower
systems to high capacity turbo-generators rated at over 850 MW.

Robert Goodrick was born in Wales and educated in
the United Kingdom, the United States and Canada. Upon graduating from
high school in Courtenay, B.C., his earliest employment was within the
B.C. forest industry. From there he joined General Electric as a
technical director, acquiring through that service formal education and
certification at their Schenectady, N.Y., headquarters in various aspects
of steam turbine power generation. Stationed by General Electric in
British Columbia, he serviced turbines principally in Western Canada and
the United States. Much of this evolved into today’s Interpro. Robert
Goodrick is recognized as one of the most knowledgeable and qualified
steam turbine specialists in North America.

Today, the Vancouver (Maple Ridge) based principals
have contracts from coast to coast in Canada, as well as clients
throughout the U.S. and around the Pacific Rim. The Interpro team
consists of outstanding technical talent in virtually every area of steam
turbine technology. Installation, inspection, maintenance, major steam
turbine overhauls and control system upgrades are among the aspects of
steam turbine technology that are supported by Interpro's technical
expertise. The company is a key source for service, parts and technical
training for steam turbine owners. Customer units serviced by Interpro
over the years have varied - both in manufacture and rating - from small,
low-horsepower systems to high capacity turbo-generators rated at over
850MW.
Modern energy management
Effective planning saves time and money

sensitivities make it imperative that the reliability of power generation
systems be maintained at their peak. Expert planning and management of
maintenance projects ensures that all power generation opportunities are
maximized. This is one of the hallmarks of Interpro. Proper planning of
routine maintenance as well as component and system upgrades to take
advantage of the evolution of technology pays significant dividends
Unparalleled safety and dependability
Interpro brings to clients a number of proprietary
approaches to ensure maximum and continuous service of all
turbine-generation systems. A combination of system design, quality
maintenance, hardware enhancements and inspections synergize to achieve
the company's premium service package.
Interpro recognizes that one of its greatest
strengths is its people, some of whom appear in these pages. Many have been working
in the turbomachinery field for in
excess of 25 years, some considerably longer. All are dedicated, experienced
and possess expertise in virtually all aspects of turbine generator
technology, allowing the scope and quality of the services that Interpro
