PULP MILL
 

One of Interpro’s long-time pulp mill clients wanted to increase the output efficiency of their existing GE steam turbine to match their current steam conditions. This ~5.5% efficiency gain translated into approximately 1.7 MWatts of additional power production.
 

Interpro, working in conjunction with the customer and a parts supplier/engineering firm provided the field installation of the new components. This included installing the new rotor, the newly designed diaphragms and high efficiency packings.
 

The work was completed on time and the customer was very pleased with the result of the upgrade and Interpro’s performance.
