Our safety philosophy represents our values and our culture. We are committed to providing a safe, healthy, drug-free work environment at all of our operating locations.

 

ALIGNMENT WITH INDUSTRY STANDARDS

Interpro employs safety specialists to ensure compliance with industry best practices and legislation, both at corporate and worksite levels. Our Health, Safety & Environment Program (HSE) is audited annually and we have maintained COR (Certificate of Recognition) compliance since 2009. Interpro’s Alcohol & Drug policy is in alignment with the Canadian Model for Providing a Safe Workplace.

 

ON THE JOB

Our employee orientation includes a review of personal protective equipment, emergency response, WHMIS 2015 and workplace violence & harassment. Interpro conducts toolbox talks before every shift with our entire workforce to ensure our workers understand and adhere to our safety commitments as well as the requirements of our customers. In addition, we hold safety meetings weekly with discussions around specific safety topics relevant to the scope of work and the worksite.

 

SAFETY CULTURE

Every individual, from our management team to our field staff, is responsible and accountable for safety within Interpro’s HSE program.
